Paancthar, Nov 30: Nepali Congress Treasurer and Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Sita Devi Yadav has underscored the festering factionalism and sub divisions in the party and called for a unified front to move ahead.
During an interaction with the party cadres at Phidim of Paancthar on Tuesday morning, Minister Yadav said, “The 13th General Convention was called a convention of unity, but it did not happen,” she said, adding that the party leadership should be responsible in making the party unified.
She also termed the delay in appointment of officials a long time after the general convention as sad.
On the occasion, NC central member and Chairman of Parliament’s Commerce, Industry and Consumer Welfare Committee, Bhismaraj Angdambe, instructed the party cadres to work for party organization’s expansion and consolidation rather than getting tangled up in trifle matters. RSS
